St George's high school located in kaloleni sub county, its hockey team is through to the national competition which will be held in Nakuru this week after smashing their rivals St Charles Lwanga 1-0 in the finals
This is what the school principal Mr Mwachofi posted in his Facebook account
"Thanking God for this.My hockey team St George's High school, Giriama makes it to the National Championships after dislodging St Charles Lwanga high school ,Mombasa 1/0 in the just concluded Coast region ball games championships played at Shanzu Teachers play grounds. Before the finals, the team had won against Kwale high school in the semis 1/0. The Nationals will be played in Nakuru this coming weekend. We wish the team well."
